10% discount when you bundle. In order to assist you in meeting the annual requirement for In-Service Training for State Licensed Only Communities in Kansas (26-41-103, 26-42-103 Staff Development), KCAL is offering Virtual Education on the 7 required topics. (No CE's offered)
Each session is presented separately by KCAL Consultant Joan Hudson, RN-BC, LNHA and range from 30-45 minutes long. Sessions include recorded presentation, printable handouts of PowerPoint slides and links to applicable videos. Although written competency is not required in regulation, KCAL has included competency quizzes to ensure a quality education experience. Certificates of completion will be issued on each topic with 100% competency. Topics are: Principles of Assisted Living (25 minutes), Fire Prevention and Safety (25 Minutes), Disaster Procedures (45 minutes), Accident Prevention (45 minutes) Resident Rights (25 Minutes), Infection Control and Prevention (30 minutes), Prevention of Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation (45 minutes).
